EROWA NEW SHOP FLOOR PERSPECTIVES
New views of the EROWA machine park bring a breakthrough in industrial automation by interconnecting multiple production cells with guided vehicle (AGV) technology. By using the EROWA JMS® 4.0 process control system, the automation of entire workshops becomes simpler and enables cost-effective production in various technologies.

Depending on the application, AGV solutions are adapted to transport within the machine park. They offer the possibility of transporting larger and smaller workpieces, electrodes and tools. Together with the customer and the AGV supplier, suitable vehicle types are selected and integrated in software and hardware. For manufacturers, this new technology offers a higher level of autonomy, minimal manual intervention and the possibility of upgradeable integration of AGVs, which increases the level of automation. A key advantage of this solution is the ability to connect existing automation systems with AGVs, which reduces time-consuming and manual transport tasks.
In addition to being able to transport individual parts, it can also transport entire storage units from cell to cell. EROWA therefore offers suitable interfaces for integration into already automated production. The next step in automation is to optimize existing processes by connecting all transportation with AGVs.
Erowa also offers a suitable interface for exchanging cutting tools, workpieces and electrodes between automated cells and lines. This includes zero-point clamping systems and available interfaces on the side of our robots, but above all JMS 4.0 software solutions that control and optimize the workflow of the entire fleet and offer the necessary interfaces for all systems (CAD/CAM, CNC machines, robots, AGVs… ).
