MAINTENANCE AND MODERNIZATION – RETROFIT
Every production line, regardless of its robustness or build quality, eventually requires more than just regular maintenance. Over time, wear and tear, component obsolescence, difficulties in sourcing spare parts, and upgrade limitations arise. In such cases, we offer a strategic solution: combined maintenance and targeted modernization (retrofit).
RETROFIT OFFERS:
- Functional restoration with long-term benefits
- Replacement of the system’s weakest points
- Adaptation to new technological or production requirements
At the same time, we retain components that are still mechanically or functionally sound—leading to cost savings and reduced restart times.

MAINTENANCE AND RETROFIT INCLUDE:
Technical assessment:
- Review of electrical, mechanical, and control system components
- Analysis of causes for frequent failures or downtimes
- Evaluation of upgrade potential (energy efficiency, communication, safety)
Targeted modernization:
- Replacement of outdated drives, sensors, and controllers with current solutions
- Implementation of modern interfaces (e.g. EtherCAT, IO-Link, OPC UA)
- Safety upgrades (STO, SIL3 elements, safety logic)
Maintenance of key components:
- Repair or replacement of worn servo motors, gearboxes, encoders
- Preventive replacement of power supplies, relays, cooling units
- Recalibration of mechanical axes and sensors to improve accuracy
GRADUAL DIGITAL UPGRADE
A major advantage of retrofitting is the ability to introduce digital technologies incrementally, without the need for immediate full-system replacement. This enables:
- Gradual integration of condition monitoring sensors
- Implementation of remote diagnostics and data analytics
- Preparing the system for connectivity with MES or ERP environments.
