More than 35 years of connecting expertise, technology and manufacturing
Trecon d.o.o. was founded in 1990. Our roots are in CNC technology, and over more than three decades of development we have gradually expanded our expertise into drive and control systems, mechanical service and overhaul of machine tools, and production automation.
Today, we combine our expertise across four key areas:

These areas did not develop independently. They evolved side by side in response to the requirements of the machines and production processes we encounter in our work.
Today, our ability to combine these areas of expertise is one of Trecon’s key strengths.
We do not look at a CNC machine or production line solely from the perspective of an individual component. We understand control systems, drives, measuring systems and machine mechanics, while also having in-depth knowledge of production processes and their automation potential. This allows us to support projects from the initial technical concept and engineering through programming, implementation and commissioning to measurement, optimisation and long-term service support.

SERVO Systems
In the field of SERVO Systems, we specialise in drive and control technology for machines and production lines. We design positioning systems, drive synchronisation, PLC control and advanced multi-axis applications, while also carrying out retrofits of existing machines and production lines.
Our long-standing cooperation with Lenze is complemented by our own expertise in engineering, programming, commissioning and service.
SERVICE | Milling Machines
Over the years, we have complemented our expertise in electronics and CNC systems with extensive knowledge in the mechanical service and overhaul of milling machines. We combine the expertise of our Slovenian and Croatian teams to provide diagnostics, mechanical overhauls, spindle servicing, machine geometry corrections and precision measurements.
As an officially authorised AXA service partner, we also provide service support for AXA CNC machining centres.
CNC Technology
CNC Technology is the field in which Trecon began its journey. Today, it includes CNC controls, drive and measuring systems, component servicing, diagnostics and the modernisation or retrofit of CNC machine tools.
Our long-standing partnership with HEIDENHAIN enables us to support customers with everything from individual components to complete CNC machine modernisations.
FLEX Automation
The youngest of our four main business areas is FLEX Automation, where we integrate CNC machines, robots, workholding systems, measurement technology and production management software.
In cooperation with EROWA, we develop flexible and modular solutions primarily for the automation of small-batch and high-mix CNC production. An important part of our work is also adapting existing CNC machines for integration into automated manufacturing systems.
Our Journey
1990 – Trecon is founded
Trecon begins operating in the field of CNC technology, building on the knowledge and experience originating from the Iskra Avtomatika Development Institute.
1998 – HEIDENHAIN
We begin our cooperation with HEIDENHAIN in the field of CNC control and measurement technology. Today, we are the official representative of the HEIDENHAIN CNC product range in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2004 – Lenze
We begin our cooperation with Lenze in the field of drive and control systems. Today, we operate as a Lenze Performance Partner.
2007 – Trecon Croatia
We establish Trecon Croatia, further strengthening our capabilities in the mechanical service of machine tools. The Croatian team specialises particularly in mechanical retrofits, slideway refurbishment, machine geometry and servicing of mechanical components on milling machines.
By combining the mechanical expertise of our Croatian team with the CNC, servo and control expertise of our Slovenian team, we are able to carry out comprehensive overhauls and modernisations of machine tools.
2018 – AXA
We begin our cooperation with AXA, a manufacturer of CNC machining centres, and further develop our capabilities in the mechanical and electronic servicing of milling machines. Trecon becomes an officially authorised service partner for AXA machines.
2022 – EROWA
Through our cooperation with the Swiss company EROWA, we expand our expertise into flexible CNC manufacturing automation, robotics, zero-point workholding systems, measurement technology and production process management.
2024 – Uyar Vision
We begin our cooperation with Uyar Vision in the field of industrial cameras and visual process monitoring directly inside CNC machine tools.
