The EROWA Self-Centering Vises are ideal for workpieces requiring high precision and stability. Available in models like the Self-Centering Vise 148 and Self-Centering Vise 85. These vises are designed for machining complex workpieces with minimal setup time. They provide powerful clamping forces, making them suitable for heavy chip removal while ensuring the workpiece is fully accessible from all sides.
These vises are built from a single piece of hardened, rust-resistant steel, ensuring long-term durability. Additionally, the spindle and slide are coated with a high-tech wear-resistant material, providing maintenance-free operation. The clamping jaws are easy to adjust without tools, making it simple to set up and reposition workpieces efficiently.
Blank Vises: Powerful and Flexible Clamping
The EROWA Blank Vises are perfect for clamping blanks during machining operations. These vises deliver up to 35,000 N of clamping power with high accuracy, ensuring that workpieces remain securely fastened during all five-axis movements. Available in different sizes like the Blank Vise 148 and Blank Vise 80, these vises offer a wide clamping range and can be customized with various jaws for different applications.
A unique feature of the blank vises is their ability to hold workpieces securely without pre-stamping. The stamping jaws allow workpieces to be clamped at a minimal height of 3 mm, eliminating the need for additional pre-machining steps. This feature saves valuable setup time and reduces overall production costs.


Compatibility and Automation
The blank vises are also designed for automation. They feature a gripper slot and compatibility with EWIS™ chips for seamless integration with EROWA’s automation systems. This allows for fully automated handling and storage of workpieces, significantly increasing the productive hours of the machine tool.
Both the self-centering and blank vises are compatible with a range of EROWA chucks. This includes the PowerChuck P, ProductionChuck 210 Combi, and MTS SingleChuck.
